Jess has been part of the beauty industry for over 20 years, with extensive experience across all areas of aesthetics — from advanced laser and spa therapies to teaching at TAFE.
In 2018, Jess proudly took over Serious About Skin after completing further training in medical aesthetics and working alongside the clinic’s previous owner, Dr Matt McKenzie, for 12 years. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for laser and advanced skin treatments.
As the new owner, Jess was inspired to merge her two great loves — spa and clinical advaced skin therapies — transforming the clinic into a results-driven medispa. By introducing organic skincare and more nurturing, pampering experiences alongside clinical laser and skin treatments, she created a space where relaxation and real results coexist beautifully.
Jess is deeply passionate about helping clients feel confident in their own skin. Whether she’s supporting someone through their acne journey, treating spider veins, or simply removing a few stray hairs, her goal is always the same — to enhance natural beauty and restore self-confidence.
